Hey there! I'm Mia, the girl behind this page.

A little bit about me: I am a college freshman that is passionate about making the Gospel's message known to this world. I am majoring in Biology with a Pre-med concentration, and am currently considering a Neuroscience minor. I have a heart for helping other people, and I know that God has called me to do this within the field of medicine. I do not want to stop helping others at a physical level, but want to help others as best I can spiritually too. I have grown up playing sports, especially basketball. I also help lead worship and play a little guitar too. I come from a pretty big family and I LOVE animals, especially dogs. I have four of my own: a pit mix named Gray, a retriever mix named Buck, a pit mix named Devin, and a dorkie named Charlie. I love God and try to love Him every day with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength. And everyday I repeatedly fall short. I hope that can serve as an encouragement to you.

My vision for this blog is to encourage others on their walks with God. One way I try to do this is to share what God has been teaching me in my life through His Word. If my life had "theme" verses, this is what they would be:

"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" (Mark 16:15)

"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." (Colossians 3:17)

"Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." (Galatians 1:10)
